The true impact of the 2014 Special Olympics USA Games can best be defined through the millions of people who learned of the Special Olympics’ life-changing effects. In June, nearly 4,000 gold, silver, and bronze medals were awarded to more than 3500 athletes who trained and competed in front of a national audience. 52 corporate sponsors came together to make the USA games a historic sporting event.
