While the Human Trafficking Prevention, Protection and Treatment Act was signed into law by Governor Christie last year, we are just beginning to scratch the surface of understanding how these powerful trafficking rings continue to thrive. This panel of experts will delve into how a person is coerced or kidnapped into slavery rings, the prevalence of the issue in New Jersey in comparison to other states, and what we can do to prevent this horror from taking place.
